Are Jews the Only True Monotheists? The annual conference of the British Association for Jewish Studies (BAJS) took place in Manchester, 5-7 July. A podcast
of the keynote lecture is now available, which was given by Prof. David
Ruderman of the University of Pennsylvania, and which was entitled 'Are
Jews the Only True Monotheists? Some Critical Reflections in Jewish
Thought from the Renaissance to the Present'. The conference was
co-sponsored by the Institut für Jüdische Philosophie und Religion,
Universität Hamburg, and the Centre for Jewish Studies, University of
Manchester, and the conference theme was 'Atheism, Scepticism and
