"We're available via Zoom, Skype and telephone to offer
careers guidance and support. We also run lots of online workshops, some with employers, some related to
Postgraduate Study which aims to address some of the most common questions we receive.
Religions and Theology graduates are good at identifying
skills and knowledge that transfer well from an academic context to their work. Valuing what you have to offer is important when applying for a postgraduate course or a job. That’s why it’s a good idea to make a note of modules you’ve enjoyed, what you’ve learnt from doing a dissertation, as well as part-time work, volunteering etc. The next step is to put this across in a way that resonates with a postgraduate course admissions tutor or employer and helps them tick off each point in their selection criteria. How to do this is explained in the
Applications and Interviews section of the Careers Service
website. Don’t forget that if you would like feedback on a personal statement for a postgrad course or a job application, you can book an
applications appointment.
